The Ministry of agriculture has significantly increased intervention prices for grains - Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolay Fedorov during a press conference in Moscow reported that the price of wheat of the 3rd class in the European part of Russia increased from 6750 rubles per ton to 10 100 rubles, in the Asian part - 6400 up to 10 000 rubles, reported the "Vedomosti".

The price of wheat of 4-th class in the European part increased to 9300 rubles per ton, Asian up to 9200 rubles the Price of wheat 5-th class in the European part is 9000 rubles, Asian - 9100 RUB

The Minister explained the price increase that the purchase of grain for the state Treasury at the old prices, virtually stopped.

In late November, Fedorov saidthat the Ministry of agriculture considers it appropriate to continue grain interventions, despite the reduction in the volume of stock exchange transactions.

Recall, last year in December on interventional trades wheat class 3 were sold at a price of about 6200 rubles, class 4 - 6010 rubles, 5 CL - 5680 RUB
