In the Perm region cabbage prices have doubled due to early snow. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the regional government and the Minister for industry, trade and Commerce of the region Alexey Lapwings.

"The region has increased the price of cabbage - growth was recorded in two times in comparison with the previous year, due to the fact that this season all of the cabbage went under the snow. Early snowfall this year has not allowed us to raise a very good harvest of vegetables, "he explained.

For comparison, in December 2013 at the shops of the Perm region cabbage cost 10-15 Euro per 1 kg, but now its price varies from 29 to 34 rubles per 1 kg

"We managed to handle the situation with rising prices for poultry meat. Local manufacturers have tried seriously to raise prices, but we took action in time. Now in stores prices for chicken meat is placed in the form of auction, but this is a real reduction, the price is kept below the level of October of the current year", - said Lapwings.

In November of the current year acting head of the regional Department of the FAS Russia Anton Udalov reported that the price of chicken meat in the Kama grew 19-60%. After that, the Department filed the antitrust case against poultry "Perm" on the abuse of dominant position on the market. By early December, the price of chicken in the region fell by 5-10%.

According to the Deputy of legislative Assembly of the territory Elena Gilyazova, according to the main types of products the market is fairly smooth". "We do not predict a strong growth rate. We see that the currency begins to stabilize. According to our forecasts, the growth of prices in the near future will be a maximum of 10-15%. In the next six months there is an opportunity to work without raising prices", - said Gilyazova.

As noted Lapwings, this year Perm for the first time in many years, "stopped faster all VFD to grow in the consumer basket". "Now we're somewhere in the middle of this ranking.
