The Minister of agriculture of Russia Nikolay Fedorov during his visit to the Republic of Chuvashia met with representatives of the baking industry of the Republic. At the meeting they discussed the state of Affairs in the industry.

Prior to the meeting Cheboksary bakers together with the Minister visited the new plant for the production of doughnuts products of one of the bakeries. While Chuvashia able to keep bread prices in comparison with the situation in other regions, in the Republic of increase was not. However, today manufacturers are experiencing difficulties due to the rising cost of energy.

Most of the increased prices of raw materials: sugar - for 65.4%, vegetable oil - by 51.8%. This compared with 1 January 2014, - said General Director of bakery No. 1 Elena Badayev.

The Ministry is ready to support the best investment projects bakeries, said Nikolai Fedorov. The financing of the state program of development of agriculture this year will increase to 640 billion rubles. Now all depends on themselves bakeries.

This allows a more optimistic look at the projects bakeries. This is something that we can subsidize and to include in the program of state support without any difficulty, - said the Minister of agriculture of Russia Nikolay Fedorov.
