In the Lipetsk region, measures are being taken to prevent African swine fever. According to the veterinary Department of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation on the territories of the Mtsensk district neighboring the Orel region and Petropavlovsk district of Voronezh region has been quarantined by this disease.

In order to prevent the emergence and spread of ASF on the territory of the Lipetsk region, on the farms of the region are of quarantine measures. The population is strictly prohibited the acquisition of pig meat in unauthorized places of trade. Cases of disease or mortality of pigs must immediately inform the veterinary services.
