According to official data, during July-November 2014 Ukraine supplied in Egypt a record 1.66 million tons of wheat, more than 200 thousand tons over the same period last season, when the direction was about 1.43 million tons of grain. In January, Egypt imported about 200 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat.

However, the total volume of wheat exports from Ukraine to the world market during July-November 2014 amounted to 7.2 million tons, compared with forecasts of analysts, who estimated exports in 2014/2015 year at about 10.8 million tons compared to 9.3 million tons, delivered to foreign markets in 2013/14 MG.
