The Ministry of agriculture of the USA has issued permits for soybeans and cotton developed by Monsanto for herbicide treatment.

Organization for the protection of environment and consumers opposed the plans of Monsanto and Dow Chemical Co. regarding seeds and herbicides, arguing that a more active means of weed control can do more harm than good. The company deny this, claiming that the latter types of herbicides is more secure than the previous one.

Monsanto has not yet received permission from the Agency for environmental protection on the herbicide that is designed to work with the permitted seeds.

GMOs remain a contentious issue in the industry, zaponiv its lawsuits on both sides.

However, Syngenta has recently cancelled its claim against Bunge, because China has allowed genetically modified varieties of this company. This problem will probably not soon resolved, as fighting broke out around the world, and none of the parties is not going to surrender.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Monsanto plans to start selling the seeds of soybean in 2016. A recent report about Monsanto profit was higher than analysts predicted, due to higher sales of soy.
