The Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) and the Ministry of agriculture of Georgia signed an agreement governing the resumption of supply of greens (dill, parsley, cilantro and other) from Georgia to Russia.

This is stated in the message of the Russian service following the talks, the head of Department Sergey Dankvert and adviser to the Minister of agriculture of Georgia Zurab Securesphere at the international agricultural exhibition "Green week-2015" in Berlin.

"During the talks, the sides signed a document that regulates the importation of green crops from Georgia to Russia", - said in a release.

The import of greenery in Russia will be possible despite the fact that Georgia is not yet a state system of laboratory examinations and the system of state monitoring, the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

"The parties will jointly procedures prior to phytosanitary certification of green crops", - explained in the document. Russia restricted imports of green out of Georgia in 2005, according to the Department for phytosanitary supervision, seed control and grain quality of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
