Finnish dairy company Valio launched the production of thick yogurt and cottage cheese in Russia at the plant of German dairy company Ehrmann in Ramensky district, Moscow region. About TASS reported in the press service of the company.

Valio plans to use Russian milk and Finnish fruit fillers, added the representative of the company. Production volumes of the Finnish company did not disclose.

She noted that the products of the two companies will not compete, even though they both work in the niche of yoghurts and dairy desserts. "We have a different concept and other products, "she said.

According to her, the production of thick yogurt and cottage cheese on the capacity leased lines "Galaxy" it is impossible, therefore, Valio had to find a new partner.

"While Valio has no plans to further expand its partnership with Ehrmann, but we are considering various options", - said the representative of the Finnish company.

The representative of the company Ehrmann was unable to provide comment. However, in early December, the Director-General Ehrmann in Russia James Christopher Dwyer stated that his company was in a difficult position because of bradenburg. To retaliatory sanctions RF Valio produced in the country, only drinking yoghurts on leased lines at the plant "Galaxy" in the Leningrad region and melted cheese in triangles in our own factory in Yershovo (Moscow region).
