To ensure stable domestic prices in the domestic market, the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation from September 30, 2014 launched the mechanism of procurement interventions season 2014/15.

To participate in the auction stated soft wheat 3-5-th class, rye no lower than 3rd grade, feed barley and corn. All the grain harvest in 2014. Favorite trades is wheat. But, unlike the previous trading day, today is procured wheat class 4 and 5. The volume of purchased grain barely updated at least since the beginning of the cereal intervention in the current season. During the bidding purchased 2,970 thousand tons of wheat. Compared with the previous trading day, and so the low volume of purchases fell on 3,915 thousand tons.

During today's trading whole wheat class 4 (of 1.485 thousand tons) purchased in the Stavropol region, and a similar amount of wheat class 5 purchased in the Kurgan region.

The volume of transactions amounted to $ 27,324 million rubles. All the grain was bought at the maximum starting price, which for 4th class wheat in the European part of Russia is 9 300,0 rubles per ton, and for grain grade 5 - 9 100,0 rubles per ton.

The winners of today's trades were 4 organization with which JSC "UGC" will be concluded contracts of sale.

Just since the beginning of the state grain interventions season 2014/15 on the stock exchange purchased 323 035 tons of grain for a total amount of 1 907 544 875 rubles.
