"According to the daily monitoring, with the beginning of the year following dynamics of prices: from 27 species of socially important food commodities, the reduction was only observed on sunflower oil (4.3%), bread from wheat flour 1st grade - 0,7%", - said the Director of the Department of agriculture, trade and food Yamal Vyacheslav Kucherenko.

On the remaining 25 items prices rose, including beef, pork, chicken, cottage cheese, yogurt, buckwheat, cabbage and apples - to 20%. "According to the analysis, the main reason for the growth is the increase in selling wholesale prices suppliers", the official added.

According to the press service of the Governor, this week on the territory of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district, except for the cities Labytnangi, Muravlenko, Novy Urengoy and Noyabrsk, limit trading, a premium of 15% on all 27 species of socially important food products. This overhead is installed on bread and baby food, are constant for the entire Arctic region.

Governor Dmitry Kobylkin noted that it is necessary to significantly increase the efficiency of monitoring of retail prices. "However, the regulation must strike a balance between the interests of the population and trading companies, so they are not left with the territory", - he stressed. At the same time the head of the region believes that people should be "price outlet", so the district will be organized fairs farmers from neighboring regions to improve the situation on the market of food products.
