The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation (Ministry of agriculture) will not increase procurement intervention prices for grains in the agricultural year 2014-2015. This is stated in the Ministry.

"Not seem appropriate to introduce a marginal level of minimum prices for state purchase interventions in 2014-2015 crop year grain harvest last year, preserving the established order of the Federal agricultural Department the following price levels", - stated in the message.

So, on a soft wheat of the 3rd class on the subjects of the Russian Federation, included in the Central, northwestern, Volga, North Caucasus, South and Crimean Federal districts the minimum purchase price will remain 10.1 thousand rubles per ton, by regions, forming part of the Urals, Siberian and far Eastern Federal districts - 10 thousand rubles per ton.

Previously TASS was told that the export duty on wheat, introduced by the government of the Russian Federation from February 1, 2015, insignificant effect on the export of grain from Russia in January and has not led to an increase in purchases of grain to the state intervention Fund in early February. The Minister of agriculture Nikolai Fedorov, commenting on this fact 3 February, said that the Ministry is conducting an analysis of the effectiveness of the duty and its results will provide the government with proposals for its adjustment and a possible increase in procurement prices for grain for hasinterface.

However, according to the agriculture Ministry, the analysis showed a positive result. "Introduction from February 1 of the current year export duties on wheat, meslin and products of their processing has helped to stabilize the grain market and the previously entered interventional rates are optimal, providing the necessary profitability of agricultural producers", - summarized in the release of the Ministry.
