The Rosselkhoznadzor has offered Belarus to organize in the Belarusian section of the external border of the Customs Union joint monitoring of imported plant products, reports "Interfax".

Such a proposal was sent to the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert, Minister of agriculture of Belarus Leonid Zayats.

According to Dankvert this control system will contribute to more effective detection schemes supply bypassing the Russian embargo, as well as help to develop unified approaches to establish the authenticity of phytosanitary certificates.

The Rosselkhoznadzor has repeatedly stated that in Russia from Belarus enters production, the supply of which is prohibited, accompanied by forged documents.
