Preliminary results 2014 indicate positive trends in agricultural production and the prospects of replacing imported products, according to the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

"According to Rosstat, the growth rate (for the period January 2015 to January 2014) amounted to: for fruit and vegetables at an average rate of 40.7% (cabbage - 86,9%, tomatoes - by 57,7%, carrot - by 39.3%, onion - by 39%, potatoes - by 23.8%), sugar - by 67.9%, fish and seafood average 25.8%), frozen fish (except salmon) - 29.1-31,7%, on salmon - 40.5%, beef - by 16.5-17.4 per cent, pork - 23.6-29.2 per cent, on chickens and chicken thighs - by 24.2-30,7%, milk - 14.4-16,6%, butter - by 17.4%, cheese - on 16-24,3%, bread and bakery products - by 11.1%", - stated in the message.

According to the information of the FCS, the physical volume of purchases from foreign countries frozen meat decreased by 24.3%, butter - by 13.2%, cheese and cottage cheese by 38.1%, citrus - 3.1% volume of imports of coffee increased by 12.6%, maize by 22.3%.

Meanwhile, the number of complaints on the hotline of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of the Russian Federation on the issues of rising prices for food in early February 2015 fell more than a third compared to the end of January. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry reported.

Thus, in the period from 2 to 9 February from citizens and businesses received 654 treatment, including 645 - complaints raising retail prices. In the last week of January there were more than 1 thousand

According to the head of the control of agro-industrial complex of the FAS Anna Microcinema, most complaints, as before, was admitted to the increase in the cost of fruit and vegetables (180 hits), milk and dairy products (150) and sugar (78).

Microcinema added that now "under scrutiny FAS" is just the market of sugar and milk. Scrutiny in many regions of the Russian Federation.
