In the Tyumen region of a large company network trade has increased the prices of all kinds of food products by increasing their wholesale cost, reported the press service of the regional Prosecutor's office.

"In the actions of such companies as "Coin", "Magnet", "Auchan", "Tape", "Megamart", "Crossroads", and wholesale companies in the region has been established that the increase in consumer prices of nearly all types of food. This is directly related to the increase in wholesale prices manufacturers", - said the Agency.

The press service said that the regional Prosecutor's office in conjunction with the office of the Antimonopoly service checks on the subject of price collusion companies.

Only on the results of inspections by prosecutors filed 54 administrative case made 13 recommendations on elimination of violations of the law and declared 10 warning about the inadmissibility of violation of the Antimonopoly legislation and pricing.

Earlier price increases on products from national retailers were recorded in the Komi Republic, Perm Krai and the Republic of Tatarstan.

As reported by TASS, in January, the Prosecutor began mass checks of retailers across the country due to the sharp rise in prices of products in retail in terms of food embargo and the fall of the ruble.

Agency staff must determine whether the price increase is fair. In addition, monitoring the prices of basic products leads the Federal Antimonopoly service of the Russian Federation.

According to the Prosecutor General's office, the growth of prices of some food products ranged from 10 to 150% in some regions recorded higher growth rate. For example, vegetables in the shops of the Urals over the past year has risen by more than 300%

Inflation in Russia in January at an annual rate reached 15%, while food inflation was close to 21%, previously reported by Rosstat.
