Kaluga agriculture Minister Leonid Gromov held a teleconference video conference, which was attended by heads of agricultural organizations and local administrations of the Kaluga region.

At the conference, we discussed the situation in animal husbandry. Kaluga region now ranks third in the production of milk among the 12 regions of the Central Federal district. Data on 25 February 2015, the volume of production amounted to 539 t - 16% more than in 2014.

The highest level of production has provided organizations Zhukovskiy, Kozelsky, Maloyaroslavets, receive medical, Przemysl and Ferzikovo areas. High growth in 2015 already showed farmers Khvastovichskogo, Dzerzhinsky and Zhizdrinskogo areas.

Now in the agricultural enterprises of Kaluga region is 48 robots and work 45 milking of various modifications. 58 robots are at the stage of completion of construction and commissioning, the press service of the government of the Kaluga region.
