In the Belgorod region are going to build the embryonic centre, through which the milk production in the region will increase to 1 million tons per year. Such a measure regional authorities intend to achieve by 2024, according to the portal Bepress.

In the embryonic centre plan to grow a high yielding cows, and then send them to the farm. Farmers, in turn, will shape the economy of several dozen heads. It is noted that such farms must build themselves Belgorod agricultural holdings and ready to give your business the best employees. If the project will be implemented, by 2014, the region will have 700 farms.

Last year, the figures for milk production in the region amounted to 534 thousand tons. Of which the share of agricultural enterprises have only 376 thousand tons. Thus, the region needs to add about 600 thousand tons. This means increasing the number 75 thousand cows, each of which on average will produce 8 tonnes of milk yield. Several thousand tons will grow annually by natural means, some will have to buy, but at the expense of the embryonic program the number of scores will increase by 5 thousand heifers.
