15-16 April 2015 in Moscow, hotel "holiday Inn Lesnaya" will host an anniversary X international Congress and exhibition "Biomass: fuel and energy - industry event dedicated to the production and application of automotive and boiler fuels from renewable raw materials: ethanol, butanol, biodiesel, wood pellets and briquettes.

The event was organized by the Russian biofuel Association (RBA). The Congress will be producers and traders of grain, sugar companies, loggers and processors of timber, pulp and paper mill, oil companies, utilities, petrol stations, entrepreneurs, banks, venture capital firms, investment funds, engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, representatives of regional and Federal authorities, journalists, environmentalists, scientists, who are interested in fuel from renewable raw materials.

Vladimir Putin approved in 2012, "a Comprehensive Program of biotechnology development in Russia", where it is scheduled to reach the 10% biofuels by 2020. In may 2014 Vladimir Putin announced the development of the program of import substitution and export: "I am Confident that the modernization of industry, we will be able to significantly reduce imports, to return the market to domestic producers", - said the President.

"As approved at the highest level Program of biotechnology development in Russia and the import substitution program will make the development of markets for biotechnology and biofuels locomotive, able to give the country the impetus for further growth based on diversification of the economy. Congress and exhibition "Biomass: fuel and energy" is a meeting place where industry participants will discuss the development of business in the biofuel market in view of the favourable political conditions", - said the President of the Russian biofuel Association Alex Ablaev.
