Wheat exports from Russia in 2015-2016 marketing year will be reduced by 17% to 18.8 million tonnes against the results of the 2014-2015 season. This is stated in the June report of International grain Council (FHI, International grain council).

Wheat exports from Russia, which has almost completed the 2014-2015 marketing year will amount to 22.7 million tons, according to preliminary data MZS.

According to the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation, on 17 June 2015 Russia in the 2014-2015 marketing year were taken to 29.6 million tons of grain, including nearly 21 million tonnes of wheat.

MRZ also predicts a decline in wheat production in Russia in 2015 by 12% to 52.9 million tons, and then an increase of 2% to 54.1 million tons in 2016.

Recall that the wheat crop in Russia in 2014 amounted to about 60 million tons, of all the grain - to 105.3 million tons in bunker weight.

The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation (Ministry of agriculture) predicts the total export of Russian grain in 2015-2016 at the level of 20-25 million tonnes in the current marketing year 2014-2015 - in the range of 30 million tons. The volume delivered in 2013-2014 to foreign markets of grain amounted to 25.4 million tons.
