Center of import substitution and localization, created with the support of the city Government, was opened in the pavilion 4 of "Lenexpo" at the beginning of September 2015 and has already established itself as a reliable and effective tool for integrated product promotion, research and technology enterprises of St. Petersburg. Today on this site almost daily there are meetings and negotiations between customers, manufacturers and suppliers. Conducted industry seminars, forums and conferences, involving representatives of government and business. Organized visits of delegations from Russian regions and CIS countries who are familiar with the scientific and technical potential of the Northern capital.

One of the residents of the Center was the company "Tauras-Fenix" – producer of technological equipment for processing and food industry.

Currently "Tauras-Fenix" is owned 37 % of the domestic market of packaging machinery. Technical capabilities allow the company in the shortest possible time to increase production and quality to ensure the replacement of imported equipment, which is due to the fall of the ruble and the sanctions regime has become less affordable for Russian customers.

State policy in the field of import substitution fully meets their own development plans "Tauras-Fenix" and the new Centre became for the company an excellent platform to work with potential clients.

October 12 "Tauras-Fenix" has opened in the exposition Center's permanent exhibition stand. On it are samples of products that are produced at manufactured by process equipment. Visitors to the stand can be obtained from the consultant detailed information about design and production capabilities of the company, as well as to plan and conduct a business meeting or talks with its representatives.
