Sunflower displaces wheat fields in Ukraine.Weather conditions of the last three months have been neutral for winter crops in Ukraine. As in the beginning of winter, now about one-third of grain crops and oilseeds (2.3 million ha) are weak and thinned condition.

At risk is about 1.7 million hectares of wheat, 340 thsd ha of barley and 200 ha of canola. In the coming months, the weather is expected to be relatively favorable for crops, there is a substantial increase in deaths is unlikely. This allows to base forecasts of the area under spring crops in 2016, based on surviving winter.

Is already possible to speak about the expansion of crops all spring crops in comparison with last year. In the TOP 3 of culture, as previously, includes sunflower, wheat and corn. However, their share in the structure will change. In particular, the share of wheat will be reduced from 29 to 25%, of the rapeseed - from 4 to 3%, while the share of sunflower, barley and corn will grow.
