Of the Russian Federation in the marketing year (1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016) may export a record volume of grain to 33.8 million tons this was announced by the Deputy Director of the strategic marketing Department of "Rusagrotrans" (the largest rail carrier of agricultural products of the Russian Federation) Igor Pavensky.

"According to our estimates, export of 33.8 million tonnes of grain, last year we had 30.3 million tons", - he noted. Russia may set a record by increasing the export of wheat and corn, according to the Pavensky. So, according to experts in the marketing year wheat exports will increase by 12.5% to 24.3 million tonnes, and corn - by 63% to 4.9 million tonnes.

"We are starting with February, we go through the records in each month", - said the Pavensky. This is due to a good harvest 2015 (104.6 million tonnes) and that in the past year to February 1 was introduced export duty on wheat, which slowed shipments abroad. From 1 July 2015, introduces a new floating duty on wheat, tied to the price.
