N. Tkachev on improving the effectiveness of monitoring grain and other agricultural markets Diagrama prepared analysis of the current situation as 27.06.2016.

On major agricultural markets has remained stable situation.

The grain market. According to operative data of the Federal customs service of Russia on June 22, 2016 in the current agricultural year exported crops 33 587 thousand tons, including wheat – 24 347 thousand tons, barley – 4 219 thousand tons, corn – 4 684 thousand tons, other crops - 337 thousand tons.

The pace of grain exports higher than last year by 11.7% (in the corresponding period last year shipped 30 062 thousand tons).

As of 20 June 2016. wholesale prices in the European part of the country for wheat flour was 18 015 roubles/ton (+3.1% in a week, by 9.6% YTD), flour of rye - 14 010 RUB./ton (+0.3% for the week, +20.6 per cent YTD).

The market of meat and meat products. In January-may 2016 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 5.2 million tons and in comparison with the similar period of 2015 increased by 6.2%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 24.06.2016 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 199,24 thousand RUB/tonne, pork half – carcasses- 150,92 thousand RUB./ton for chicken carcasses – 99,21 thousand RUB./ton.

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-may 2016 the gross milk yield in farms of all categories totaled 11.9 million tons and increased relative to the level of 2015 by 0.5%, including in agricultural organizations – 6 276,6 thousand tons (+ 2,8%).

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 24.06.2016 on raw milk made up 21.15 rubles/kg.

The sugar market. As of 30 may 2016, the processing of raw sugar has stopped. According to the Union of sugar producers of Russia from January 2016 recycled raw sugar 172,9 thousand tons (2.4 times less than the same period in 2015), developed 169,4 thousand tons (1.9 times less than in the same period of 2015).
