The market of agricultural tractors in Russia in January-June 2016 decreased by 27.2% compared to the same period last year. According to the analytical company ASM-holding, total sales of tractors in January-March 2016 was 11.1 thousand units. Of these, 1.3 million units, domestic appliances brands. Its sales grew by 6.7%, while market share increased from 7.8% to 11.5%.

The share of imported cars from Belarus and Kazakhstan for the period declined from 44.0% to 37.6%. The share of imports of new foreign brands of tractors also decreased from 25.2% to 21.7%. Their sales fell by 37.4% and amounted to 2.4 thousand units. Import of second-hand tractors decreased by 47.3%, and its share declined from 11.4% to 8.3%. Overall, sales of new imported tractors, including import from Belarus and Kazakhstan, decreased by 37.6% to 6.6 thousand units.

According to forecasts of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia until the end of the year in the country, the sales volume of agricultural machinery should be more than 17 thousand units.
