The income of Finnish farmers decrease due to the Russian embargo. In 2015, they have dropped by 40%, which is the largest drop among the countries of the European Union. According to the Central organization of agricultural producers of Finland (MTK), the Finnish farmers ' income fell from 16.9 million euros (2014) to 9.7 million euros (2015).

According to experts of the Russian trade representation in Finland, from the Russian food embargo suffered the most of the Finnish dairy industry.
