Research in the field of light therapy specialists of Tomsk agricultural Institute have been doing for several years. According to scientists, in Siberia animals most of the time in areas of their body while experiencing the lack of sunlight decreases. Therefore, together with engineers breeders have developed a device for daily light therapy cows rays of the rising sun directly during milking.

For three months the invention was tested in the SEC Nelyubino, where new devices equipped milking parlor. Twice a day during milking the cows were arranged in the sun. Cows received a dose of red-infrared light for 15-20 minutes.

"Every 15 days, the researchers studied the blood of animals and milk tested for somatic cell count and indicators of quality (mass fraction of fat, protein, density). Comparison of results of experimental and control groups of animals showed that light not only has anti-inflammatory effect, but also increases the quality of the milk", — reported in Tomsk agricultural Institute.

In the near future, the residents plan to launch the device in mass production.
