According to the International epizootic Bureau on the territory of Chuvashia was the case susceptible to ASF animals. In this regard the Department of veterinary and food control has introduced temporary restrictions on imports from the territory of live pigs, semen of boars, pork, including wild boar, and products of its processing, leather, rogakopita and raw intestines, hair, hunting trophies obtained from the susceptible species of animals, feeds and feed additives for animals of animal origin, including poultry and fish, forage additives for cats and dogs, second-hand equipment for keeping, slaughter and butchering of pigs.

These restrictions also apply to prepared food for cats and dogs that have not undergone heat treatment (the temperature is not below plus 70 degrees, the processing time of at least 20 minutes), made from raw materials originating from the Chuvash Republic.

"At the same time it is necessary to adopt additional control measures to ensure biological protection of major pig-breeding complexes, pig farms and farms of all forms of ownership", — noted in Department.

In addition, canceled all previously issued permits for import of these goods from the Chuvash Republic.
