The government of the Ulyanovsk region hope in 5 years to increase the number of cattle by 30 thousand heads.

Deputy Minister of agriculture, forestry and natural resources of the Ulyanovsk region Vyacheslav Rozhnov, whose words are in the message, noted that it is planned to replace low productive cattle on highly productive.

"Today the Ulyanovsk region is in the Volga Federal district the first place on growth rates of cattle. Gross milk production in all categories of farms in the second half of the year exceeded last year by almost 1.8 thousand tons. The number of cattle increased by 2,3 thousand heads of dairy cattle on 640 goals", — said Vyacheslav Rozhnov.
