The Ministry of agriculture of Russia will consider the complaints of farmers of Krasnodar region on the violation of their rights to land, the press service of the Ministry.

"Today, state Secretary - Deputy Minister of Victoria Abramchenko held a meeting with the initiative group of farmers who arrived from the Krasnodar region. Questions of possible violations of the rights of citizens on the ground, announced at the meeting will be addressed by the Ministry of agriculture in the framework of its competence", — stated in the message.

According to the press service, the participants discussed the questions of application of norms of the land legislation, as well as providing state support for small farms and sustainable rural development.

Representatives of the popular front in March 2016 has sent a letter to the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin with a request to examine the statements of farmers about the abuse in the Krasnodar region. About 100 farmers from nine districts of the Kuban complained about the massive abuses and violations of their rights under the leases and registration of land, and pointed to a "resurgence of hostile takeovers of regions and even of the harvest".

According to the farmers referenced in the press service of the onf, "some commercial structures or individuals by arrangement with the municipal officials and the heads of former collective farms illegally deprive people of land owned, or prevent them to rent land from other owners."

Subsequently, the regional authorities established a working group, composed of representatives of Department of property relations of the Krai government, regional Ministry of agriculture, the Association of peasant (farmer) farms and agricultural cooperatives of Russia, Legislative Assembly of the territory, the Council on human rights and the onf. The representatives of the working groups held in areas of the province meeting with all parties to the conflicts and disputes.

According to the press-service of administration of Kuban, the group held 12 meetings, including exit and two meetings in the Prosecutor's office of Krasnodar region. Are in operation in 78 cases. Also, a Commission was established to settle the land problems of farmers, headed by Vice-Governor of Krasnodar region Andrei Box. In the next two weeks the Commission will begin a comprehensive inspection in two districts of the Kuban.
