Among the leaders in yield of Kochkurovsky district (546 kg/ha), Chamzinsky district (523 kg/ha) and Ichalkovsky district (510 kg/ha)", – stated in the message.

The farmers of the Republic were to remove about 10% of the total area. But now, the press service notes, it is possible to say that the task set by the leadership of the Republic, will be executed. In particular. the message to the head of the state Assembly of Mordovia announced figure of one million 60 thousand tons of sugar beet.

"It is assumed that the gross harvest of sugar beet in Mordovia will reach this year a record 1 million 100 thousand tons. For comparison, at the end of the Soviet period, the region had collected a little more than 200 thousand tons with an average yield of 187 centners from hectare", – said the press service.
