As at 19 December 2016 compared to 2015 the level of inflation to 5.3% (2015 compared to December 2014 is 12.9%). According to the calculations of the accounting chamber, while maintaining consumer price inflation may be in December at 0.5% and YTD of 5.5%.

The growth of prices for food products was formed in November 2016 compared to 2015 at the level of 4%, which is 8.7 percentage points lower than in the corresponding period in 2015 (12.7%).

In November 2016, compared with Dec 2015, a higher price growth compared to the average for food items level was observed for butter – 16.7% (in the same period of 2015, the price increase amounted to 9.6%), cereals and pulses – 7% (15,3%), fish and seafood – 8% (20,3%), milk and dairy products – by 7.9% (10.3 per cent), bread and bakery products – by 5.5% (to 12.3%). In November of the current year in comparison with December 2015 non-food goods rose by 6.2%, which is 7 percentage points lower than in the corresponding period 2015 (13.2 per cent).

The growth of prices and tariffs for services in November 2016, compared with the previous month has not changed, and compared to December 2015 amounted to 4.6%. This is 4.9 percentage points lower than in November 2015 compared to December 2014 (to 9.5%).
