In connection with threat of distribution of bird flu in Russia has limited exports of poultry products from the territory of Kalmykia Republic and Astrakhan region.

"With the aim of preserving the Russian Federation's status as a country free from avian influenza and to avoid the possibility of the spread of the flu virus in the neighboring regions of the Russian Federation restricts the export of poultry products from the territory of the Republic of Kalmykia and Astrakhan region", – stated in the message.

Manufacturers are required to indicate that poultry meat exported from Russia, as well as raw materials and by-products were not produced in these regions. The entry in the veterinary certificate must be certified by the signature and stamp of the veterinarian.
