Elected President of the United States, Donald trump intends to appoint to the post of head of the Ministry of agriculture in its future administration of ex-Governor of Georgia Sonny Perdue.

70-year-old Purdue for two terms he held the position of Governor of Georgia (2003-2011), before that was a member of the legislative Assembly of this state. Early in his political career he was a Democrat, but later switched to the Republican party.

Purdue is a well-known conservative. He, in particular, advocated the restriction of illegal migration and does not support gay marriage. Before coming into politics, Perdue has founded several companies working in the field of agriculture. His candidacy would have to approve the Senate of the U.S. Congress.
