Russian salt market in 2016 rose 4.9% to 2015 and reached 5.8 mln t. according to the report "Rusprodsoyuz", this is the highest capacity of the market over the past six years. In 2014 and 2015, its volume amounted to 5.6 million tons, in 2013 is 5.5 million tonnes.

In 2010-2013, the market salt fell from 1.29 to 1.03 million tonnes, over the next two years showed growth of no more than 7% per year.
