Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, according to which permitted imports of Turkey fresh or chilled onions, shallots, fresh or chilled cauliflower and broccoli, for example, salts, including the dining room, chewing gum, covered or not covered with sugar, and stud, it follows from the text of the decree published on the government website.

Retailers will be able to resume supplies permitted products from Turkey for several months, said the Director for external relations of the Association of retail companies (ACORT) Xenia Burdanova.

"The period of restoration of supply is different for different networks, from several weeks to a month is a realistic period,"she said, noting that demand will depend on prices, quality and terms of delivery of the products.

Director of development Association of manufacturers and suppliers of food products "Rusprodsoyuz" Dmitry Vostrikov admits that onion prices in Russia in April-August may decline after the lifting of the ban on its shipments from Turkey.

But the price of salt, experts say little will change after the appearance in the Russian market this product in Turkey.

"Now, perhaps, Turkey will try to occupy the position of the European suppliers of sea salt that fall under restrictions on import since November last year, and thereby weaken the position of the Crimean manufacturers of similar products due to more available today logistics", — said Dmitry Vostrikov, noting that sea salt is a niche product, its price is much higher prices of rock salt and salt of "Extra" grade, therefore, a consumer will not feel the price changes.
