The Rosselkhoznadzor from 20 April 2017 has introduced temporary restrictions on the import into Russia of live poultry and hatching eggs from three regions of Italy due to bird flu.

In particular, the supply being temporarily restricted from regions Lombardy, Friuli – Venezia Giulia and Piedmont. In addition, restrictions on transit through the territory of Russia of the product concerned from these regions.

Recall that in mid-February 2017, the Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed a temporary ban on imports of live birds and eggs from various regions of Italy, Greece, Slovakia and Poland, where they found pockets of bird flu. In Italy, the ban was extended to the territory of the region Emilia-Romagna.
