The value of imports grew by 25.6% due to the continued higher level of world prices for cheese and curd in comparison with the beginning of 2016.

The physical volume of import of cheese was lower by 17.2% (imported 6,0 thousand tons), and cheese – by 5.6% (imported 41.7 thousand tonnes), including young cheeses imported 17.3% more (7.8 thousand tons).
