According to 15 June of the current year gross harvest of greenhouse vegetables in the whole country amounted to 382,8 thousand tons, which is 42.1% higher than in 2016 (269,4 million tons).

Including collected 288,9 thousand tons of cucumbers (+30,9% higher than in 2016), and 89.8 thousand tons of tomatoes, or 98.8 per cent more than in 2016 (40,7 thousand tons), and 6.1 thousand tons of other vegetables.

Leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables in agricultural organizations and K(f)X among the regions of Russia Krasnodar Krai – 48.0 thousand tonnes, Stavropol region – 25.3 thousand tons the Republic of Tatarstan – 21.7 thousand tons, Karachay-Cherkess Republic – 20.5 thousand tons, Volgograd oblast – 18.2 thousand tons.
