Over 80% of substandard fruit and vegetables withdrawn from the sale by CPS in the first half of 2017, fell to the share of imported products.

"In the first half of 2017 with a CPS implementation filmed over 390 tons of fruits and vegetables, not to meet the mandatory requirements, with more than 80% of the production with violations of the imported products," – said on the website of Rospotrebnadzor.

During this period, the specialists have investigated more than 93 thousand samples of fruits and vegetables using various indicators. Proportion of samples not meeting standards on the content of chemical contaminants from imported melons reached 2.9% against 0.5% in the Russian production.
