Exports of Indonesian palm oil by the end of 2017, experts forecast at 27.3 million tons compared to 23.36 million tons last year. Palm oil production in the country in 2017 is estimated at a record level of 36.5 (32,3) million tons, due to an increasing yield of oil palm and the continued expansion of harvesting areas.

Domestic consumption of palm oil in Indonesia for the year decline slightly - to 9.15 (9,2) million tons, while expected a slight decline in the use of palm oil as feedstock for biofuels and the increase in the food industry.
