The company "Mushroom farm" will be created in the village of Vvedenye of Shelekhov district on the territory of the former cattle farm, the land and buildings of which, including the electrical substation and the well, was acquired by the project proponent.

The total investment in the creation of a "Mushroom farm" will amount to 45 million rubles, of which 15 million rubles will be support from the regional development Corporation. The project will take 7 years.

"Bakalakadaka" plans to start selling its own products in June of this year. It is expected that the annual production of mushrooms in the enterprise will reach 128,4 tons.

"The uniqueness of this project is that in Siberia will be the first large-scale production of mushrooms, — said General Director of Corporation of development Oleg Sevryukov. — Currently, fresh mushrooms supplied to the markets of the Irkutsk region thousands of kilometers from Smolensk region and China. They have a short shelf life. The establishment of mushroom production in Shelekhov district will provide residents of the region with fresh, environmentally safe products".
