The most popular types of sausages and meat delicacies on the Russian market are stuffed sausages. So, in 2013-2017, their share accounted for an average of 63.3% of the total sales. Second place on this indicator took smoked sausage products, the share of which was about 26.3% of the market. With an average for the period, smoked and boiled-smoked sausages accounted for 86,5% of the sales of smoked sausages. The third place by sales volume was occupied by meat and 6.8% of the market. The greatest demand in this category enjoyed the pork products, which accounted for 57.1% of all sales of meats.

According to the forecast of BusinesStat, in 2018-2022 gg sale of sausages and meat delicacies in the country will show growth of 1.3-2.6% per year. By the end of the period, they amounted to 2.70 million tonnes, which will exceed the level of 2017 by 10.8%.
