In the Novosibirsk region prevented the importation of 75.8 per ton of regulated products — cucumbers and onions from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, reported March 20 in a press-service of regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Six parties were detained under phytosanitary control at the checkpoint "Karasuk". The product was intended for implementation in Tomsk and Novosibirsk.

Employees Rosselkhoznadzor found that 56 tons of Kazakh cucumbers and onions and of 19.76 tonnes of onion from Kyrgyzstan were transported with invalid phytosanitary certificates and lack of labeling on the packaging.

In addition, it was found that for products out of 108 511 colors from Italy, Colombia and Ecuador there was no information about the name of the product, the country of export or re-export.

We will remind, on March 19, employees of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Stavropol territory has prevented the import of 1200 kg of dried Basil from Uzbekistan. The driver from Kazakhstan had no documents on phytosanitary quality of the transported products. The item was returned to Kazakhstan.
