APH "Miratorg", the No. 1 manufacturer of pork and beef in Russia, considers the Oryol oblast as a key region for the implementation of the interregional project for doubling of pig-breeding facilities of the company. The holding plans to place in the region of 17 pig farms, grain company Elevator group, and also asset processing of plant raw material – feed mill, which will provide feed the pig site.

The production of own animal feed plays a key role in a vertically integrated chain of the agricultural holding: it allows to control obtaining meat of high quality, but also positively affects the reduction of its cost.

Start of construction of a feed plant in the Oryol region is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018. The new plant will be located on the territory Kromskogo area. Its capacity is more than 1.5 times exceeds the capacity of the largest existing feed mills agricultural holding. The plant will operate on raw grain grown in the fields of agricultural holdings in the Orel region.

"The construction of a new feed mill is part of a large-scale project that will have major socio-economic importance for the region. Run only one feed production in Kromskom area will create about 160 new jobs in rural areas, provide additional tax revenues to the local budget, as well as expand the tax base of the consolidated budget of the region. All in all, the project of doubling of the pig breeding division, realized on the territory of the Oryol region, it is planned to provide jobs for more than 1,000 people", - said the press service of the holding.
