Belarus exports to Russia in 2018 about 3.5 million tons of dairy products, which corresponds to level of last year, told reporters on Friday the head of the main Department of foreign economic activity of the Ministry of agriculture and food of Belarus Alexei Bogdanov.
"In General, as previously announced, we have agreed that the supply of dairy products in recalculation on milk will be on the same level as last year, that is about 3.5 million tons", - said Bogdanov.
Supply balance of dairy products in Russia was finalized in early may, shortly before agreement was reached on meat products. Under this arrangement, Belarus plans to export to the Russian market 55 thousand tons of skimmed milk powder and 17 thousand tons of dry whole milk.
At the same time Russia, according to balance, to increase exports to Belarus are its meat and dairy products.
"The supply of Russian dairy products to the Belarusian market are expected to increase by 24% compared with last year, meat products - by 5.5%," - said Bogdanov.
"The question of balance I think has been closed, all items agreed upon and their signing is already a formality. We have already agreed and his word keep", - said Bogdanov.
