Rosselhoznadzor since June 6, restricts the import into Russia from Belarus of milk and some dairy products. Restrictions will apply to milk and cream, pasteurized, sterilized and ultrapasteurization bulk, dry milk and cream, concentrated, canned and condensed, liquid dairy whey, concentrated and dry, as well as whey protein concentrate and milk protein. The ban is introduced before the settlement of the situation with ensuring the security of Belarusian goods and will apply to products in consumer containers with a volume of 2.5 liters. Products in containers with a volume of, for example, 1-1,5 liters under the ban do not fall.

"The decision of the Rosselkhoznadzor will help our producers, but it does not affect the prices of the finished products. It normalizes our own internal economy and allow time to pay our people's salary. Accordingly, the people getting paid, again leave the money in shops in our country by buying made in Russia products," — said RIA Novosti Khairullin, commenting on the decision.

He therefore supported the measures taken by the Rosselkhoznadzor. "I hope that we will not allow a collapse of our agricultural producers, in support of which the government so much money in the last 10 years invested," — said Deputy Chairman of the Committee.

He believes that in Belarus there were a lot of transit imported dairy products. "This led to the fact that in the Russian market, starting in December 2017, sharply lower purchasing prices for milk and, by February of this year, our farmers have lost in the procurement price of milk from 8 to 10 rubles per liter," said Khairullin.

"This situation has created not only the Belarusian manufacturers, as the powdered milk, various cheese products,... through Ukraine came to Belarus, and then through Belarus to the Russian market and brought down prices," — concluded the MP.
