Cattle-breeding dairy complex on 1,2 thousand heads of cattle will be established in Kostroma region. Planned amount of investment in the project amounts to 740 million rubles, said on Friday the press-service of the Governor of Kostroma region.

"A new cattle-breeding complex "Shuvalovsky milk" will be located at Suschevsky rural settlement. The planned volume of investments - more than 740 million rubles", - stated in the message.

As said TASS in the press-service of the credit for the creation of a livestock breeding complex is approved by Sberbank. The volume of lending is not reported. The head of the region Sergei Sitnikov told about the project to representatives of Sberbank at the St Petersburg international economic forum.

The project investor JSC "Shuvalovo". The company has over 10 years of experience in the Kostroma region pig.

"The launch of the complex will allow to increase the region's total population of cattle by 7.8%, milk production - by 12.3%. The self-sufficiency of the region's milk will increase from 72.7% to 80%", - said the press service.
