Employees of the Orenburg regional Directorate of the Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance of Russia was detained on the Kazakh-Russian border, more than 79 tons of vegetables and fruit from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. About it the correspondent of IA REGNUM reported in the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

According to authorities, peaches, apricots and onions Kyrgyz origin were directed to one of the vegetable markets of Moscow, Kazakhstan watermelons in Saint Petersburg, Kazakhstan and also a plum and apricot — in Samara.

Trucks with agricultural products returned to the countries of the sender and suppliers fined for infringement of rules of import of quarantine products to the territory of Russia — due to the fact that the certificates for the cargo of vegetables and fruit was past due.

IA REGNUM reminds that earlier the Rosselkhoznadzor is not missed on the territory of Russia 20 tons of cucumbers from Kazakhstan and 87.5 tons of beets, potatoes, cherries, plums, peaches and apricots from Kyrgyzstan. The reason for the prohibition was the fact that the markings on this produce proved to be unreliable.

Note also that in the beginning of July 2018 in Chelyabinsk customs have detained on border with Kazakhstan on 11 of long-haul trucks with 220 tons of apples, allegedly grown in Kyrgyzstan. In fact it turned out that these fruit are of European origin, and therefore included in the sanctions list and prohibited to import to Russia.
