Two Russian-Finnish project with the participation of the Nenets SPK "Izhemsky Olenevod", "Harp" and "the Way of Ilyich" will be finansiranje thanks to the cross-border cooperation programme "Kolarctic" for the period 2014-2020.

We will remind, the Russian state Duma today ratified the agreement on the financing and implementation of the program.

"The ratification of the agreement for the Nenets Autonomous area means that the projects with the participation of NAO, which was already approved at the end of 2017, will receive financial support. It's two Russian-Finnish project with the participation of district SPK "Izhemsky Olenevod", "Harp" and "the Way of Ilyich". They are both aimed at improving the quality of processing of reindeer in the region through the training of herders and developing infrastructure. The main objective of the programme for our farms to produce products in accordance with European standards, which will go for export. Interest in venison from NAO already have the Finnish side," explained IA REGNUM in the Department for interaction with local self-government bodies and external relations of the NAO.

We add that the total programme budget is around EUR 50 million. It is formed by contributions from Russia, the EU, Finland and Sweden.
