Capacity of dairy plants in the Republic of Adygea and the increase of own raw materials to meet the needs of consumers in cheese under the brand name "Adyghe". This was announced on Friday, TASS, the head of public organization "Union of manufacturers of Circassian cheese" Murat Lostangel, commenting on media reports about the possible disappearance of Adygei cheese from the market.

In January, the Supreme court issued a final decision on the recognition of dairy plants Adygea exclusive rights to use the brand "Cheese Adyghe". Produced in other regions of the country products with the same name is considered counterfeit. However, a number of Russian companies have again attempted to defend the right to produce cheese under the brand name "Adyghe". Lately in mass media there were comments from a number of manufacturers of dairy products where there are concerns about the disappearance of Adygei cheese from the Russian market and also making statements about what Adygea will not be able to cover the needs of the country.

"The argument that "Cheese adygeyskiy" alleged may disappear from the shelves of stores across the country are unfounded. According to experts, today in Russia annually consumes about 12 thousand tons of Adygei cheese. The milk factory of Adygea is ready to cover the country's needs in Adygei cheese and to increase its production, if the demand of the market. He explained that with the beginning of 2018, the enterprises of the Republic produced 12.8 thousand tons of cheese, which is 12% more than in the same period a year earlier. The plans for this year to increase production by 10-12%. Last year, the economy of Adygeya produced nearly 122 thousand tons of milk, so the volume required for the production of 13 thousand tons of Adygei cheese.

"Sent us on the export of "Adyghe Cheese" obtained the certificate of conformity of the EU, the EU highly appreciated the entire production chain. And we as producers of national product, which has become a world famous brand, we care not only about the volume of sales of Adygei cheese, but also to protect it from low-quality fakes.
