Created on the basis of Michurinsk state agrarian University innovative greenhouse complex produced in 2018, a record harvest of vegetable crops — 187 tons of tomatoes and cucumbers 142 tons, reported the press service of the University.
It is noted that the increase in yield of 12% was a consequence of the introduction of improved technology of cultivation and application of the latest developments that are implemented in conjunction with Salkovskis Institute of science and technology (Skoltech). This development is based on the digitization process and the creation of artificial intelligence.
In the greenhouse boxes installed special sensors to monitor microclimate in the room. They track changes in temperature, humidity and a number of other indicators that helps to determine the optimal environment for plant growth.
